Hola a todos! que tal ese fin de semana? Nosotras con mucho trabajo con todos los preparativos del Showroom y muy contentas. Hoy os traigo una nueva pulsera de las que estamos creando para la exposición. Es de la gama de piedras semi preciosas. Está en concreto está basada en colores nude y grises y montada en seda. Que les parece? 

Se nos echan los días encima y cada vez estamos más nerviosillas, ya sabéis, lo del directo impone! jajaja

Showroom Efervescente

Ya estamos de viernes y hoy os voy a hablar del evento en el que participamos la semana que viene. Estamos muy ilusionadas!

Es un Showroom multidisciplinar donde participan muchos diseñadores con sus trabajos artesanales. Artesanía moderna e independiente de artistas vanguardistas que no exponen normalmente en salas. Ahí nos hemos colado! Estamos a tope para poder llevar mucho material  y que los visitantes vean todas las cosas que hacemos. 

Entre los participantes hay marcas de ropa vintage, corsetst importados, complementos reciclados, libros y discos por ejemplo. Habrá exposiciones de fotografía, de pintura, sesiones de deejays y algún que otro concierto. La verdad es que la organización es un lujo!

Será el jueves 17, viernes 18 y sábado 19 de mayo en la parte alta de la antigua Floridita en La Plaza de las Ranas, junto a la biblioteca. La sala es ideal y la verdad, para todas las personas de Las Palmas, no os lo podéis perder. Una propuesta de ocio con mucho buen rollo! Os dejo el cartel del evento.

We are on Friday and today I will talk about the event in which we participate next week. We are very hopeful!

It is a multidisciplinary Showroom where many designers are involved with their crafts. Crafts and independent modern avant-garde artists not normally exposed in theaters. Here we cast! We butt to carry a lot of material and visitors to see everything we do.

 Participants include vintage clothing brands, corsetst imported, recycled accessories, books and records for example. Open exhibitions of photography, painting, deejays sessions and the occasional concert. The truth is that the organization is a luxury!

Will be on Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday May 19 at the top of the old Floridita La Plaza de las Ranas, next to the library. The room is ideal and truth for all people of Las Palmas, do not want to miss it. A lot of leisure activities with good vibes! I leave the event poster.

As of Monday this weekend played a lot to work!

Ajá! Ya empezamos con los preparativos para el Showroom en el que vamos a participar y ya comenzamos a tener listas todas las cositas que vamos a enseñar. Hoy les muestro esta cajita llena de pompones de un montón de colores, son ideales!!!!! ya vereis cuando los tengamos todos colocados, vamos a tener un puestito ideal!

Hoy toca sección de Inspiración web y como os comenté anteriormente llevo años recopilando imágenes y cosas que me gustan de la red. Este es un buen ejemplo, soy una amante de la creatividad publicitaria y tengo un millón de campañas guardadas; hoy les enseño tres de las que más me gustan. Las dos primeras son de Play Station y son la bomba, no se puede decir más sin palabras y la del Nokia es lo más, parece un zapatofóno! pobres móviles convencionales, los smartphones os han hecho un flaco favor!

Feliz lunes everybody! Lo primerísimo felicitar a todas las madres en especial a la mía que es lo más de lo más! Y también las Isabelettas nos auto felicitamos porque somos unas mamis muy currantes y nos lo merecemos! jajaja

Ahora a lo importante. Estamos confeccionando más pulseras con piedras semi preciosas y sedas naturales, los resultados están quedando geniales pero podríamos hacer una encuestilla a ver que les parecen a ustedes. Las animo a dejar comentarios tooodos los que quieran ;) pero de todas formas prometo subir fotos más detalladas de todos los modelos. Hoy les pongo la miel en los labios...he aquí nuestro primer modelo de Isabeletta Stones, TACHÁN! Ya lo estamos viendo, como los Rolling, de aquí al estrellato!

Happy Monday everybody! The very first to congratulate all mothers especially mine which is more than most! And also Isabelettas congratulate us because we are a self mommies very hard workers and we deserve it!

Now to business. We are building more bracelets with semi precious stones and natural silks, the results are running great but we could make a survey seem to see you. Ya es viernes!!!!!! que bueno que esta semana ha sido tan cortita, verdad? Nosotras estamos trabajando muchísimo porque dentro de dos semanas participamos en un Showroom donde enseñaremos todo nuestro trabajo, la colección de tocados de este verano que estamos confeccionando, toda nuestra bisutería y alguna sorpresilla más. La semana que viene ya les digo fecha, lugar  y hora para que tooodas se pasen por allí y puedan ver todas las cositas en persona. Además, la organización es de lujo porque vamos a tener hasta conciertos en directo!

Hoy les voy hablar de tendencias, en especial la del Print Azqueta, muy muy in este verano. Todas las marcas low cost se han hecho con piezas con este estampado y como parece que por fin se ha ido el invierno y ya ha salido el solito empieza a apetecer cambiar los colores oscuros del invierno por estos maravillosos colores!

¿ La combinación perfecta? une estos estampados con el maximalismo, elige piezas XXL inspiradas en las tribus ancestrales y mucha mucha pulserita y brazaletes. Resultado: un look ideal para estrenar nuestro querido verano!

Un guiño al pasado

Hoy me apetecía hablarles de alguna curiosidad y se me ocurrió buscar una de esas campañas que marcó mi adolescencia. Era la época de las Top Model como dios manda, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell... No sé cuantos años podía tener yo, 13 ó 14 años y Mango sacó esta campaña con las dos super Tops! 

Era la época en la que te regalaban en la tienda posters de las campañas, pegatinas y te llevabas los catálogos de dos en dos para poder forrar la carpeta del cole o si tenías suerte colocarlas en la pared de tu habitación siempre y cuando hubiera un hueco libre de posters de la Super Pop (verdad Vicky?) :)

Parece que por ellas no pasa el tiempo la verdad pero la realidad es que si que pasa y cuando veo recuerdos como este me pregunto tipo Carrie Bradshaw... Porqué ya no hay modelos como estas?

Y como hoy parece que me he levantado como melancólica ( ya les dije que la depre post-vacacional me iba a pasar factura) reivindico que Mango vuelva a recuperar este logo! Forma parte de nuestras vidas chicas nacidas en los 80, esto y Sensación de Vivir, o no? Prometo dedicar un post a la serie, no os preocupéis!

Today I wanted to talk about some curiosity and I happened to find one of those campaigns that marked my adolescence. It was the era of Top Model as God intended, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell ... I do not know how many years I could have, 13 or 14 years and Mango took this campaign with two super Tops!
